Meet the Founders

Coworking Hurghada was built on a shared vision

Coworking Hurghada was born from a shared vision — the desire to create a place where people can work professionally, connect with others and grow together.

Haris and Alex first met through business, when Haris brought Alex in to manage and develop his outsourced customer service and admin team in Egypt. What started as a small team of five quickly grew into a strong operation of 34 employees in under 12 months, including the creation of a dedicated quality department and the internal promotion of two team managers.

Their collaboration developed on a professional and harmonious foundation from the beginning. Both brought their own experience, strengths and perspectives to the table, with a clear focus on growth, efficiency and sustainable solutions. Through years of business experience in building teams, improving operational processes and delivering customer-focused services, Haris and Alex quickly found a shared direction.

From this business-driven partnership, Coworking Hurghada was created: a modern workspace in Hurghada designed to bring people together, support productivity and build a genuine community for entrepreneurs, remote workers and digital nomads.

Alex

After graduating from York St John University in York with a degree in Business Management and Arabic, Alex began his career in customer service before quickly progressing into management roles. Over the past ten years, he has led teams ranging from 12 to 100 employees, building a strong foundation in leadership, operations and client delivery.

More recently, Alex has moved into self-employment, founding both a recruitment business and a social media marketing agency, working with clients across different industries and locations.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys diving, playing the piano, and spending time outdoors with his dog, Cleo.

Haris

Haris is a driven and ambitious entrepreneur with business interests across both Germany and Egypt. His experience spans multiple sectors, including energy switching services and outsourced customer support teams, giving him a strong understanding of operations, efficiency and customer experience.

Before entering the world of business, Haris was on track to become a professional boxer. Although a shoulder injury brought that journey to an early end, the discipline, resilience and work ethic developed through sport now underpin everything he does in business.

Outside of work, Haris remains passionate about sport and regularly plays handball, maintaining the same competitive mindset that defines his approach to entrepreneurship.
